Mortimer Bay by alexwise Mortimer Bay by alexwise
The same location as one of my favourite pictures ([link]). Instead this time I shot a 10 minute exposure.

I've put together some long exposure photography tips which can be viewed at [link] I hope it helps :)

Absolutely superb image, love the exposure, and composition with the fence.

I completely disagree with the Drewboy.. not unusual, the negative left space is part of its amazingness. As the clouds are scooting I guess the water was choppy leading to the white water. You should camp out her in a tent mate. Great to see some Alexwise in my inbox

Very nice, really beautiful.

I've always wondered, how do you get such long exposures?
I can only get 30seconds max, must be down to the camera right?

Fantastic exposure. I personally would have panned slightly more to the right getting more of the fence coming into the frame, it would fill a bit more of the empty space on the left which isn't really adding much to the image. Apart from that this is great!

Thanks mate, I was unfortunate that there was a big sign on the fence so this was as close as I could get without including the fence but I definitely agree! Thanks for taking the time out to comment on my work, always appreciate it.
